With a career spanning over three decades, I have been dedicated to helping people secure the right mortgage since 1989. My journey began in estate agency, where an insightful manager suggested I would make a great mortgage adviser. He was absolutely right—I found my calling, and I’ve never looked back.
In 2003, I took the leap to establish my own business, driven by a passion for providing clients with clear, personal, and trustworthy mortgage advice. Over the years, I’ve arranged thousands of mortgages for clients from every walk of life and with a wide range of circumstances. I can confidently say there are very few situations I haven’t encountered—and successfully navigated.
I hold the Financial Planning Certificate, Full CeMAP, and more recently achieved the Equity Release (ER1) qualification, While I don’t directly arrange equity release, I work closely with a trusted specialist adviser, meaning I can confidently refer clients when later-life lending may be the right solution. This allows me to continue supporting my clients at every stage of their financial journey, ensuring they receive expert, tailored advice when it’s needed most.
What I enjoy most is the human side of my work: guiding clients through what can feel like a daunting process, picking up the phone to share the news that their mortgage offer has been approved, and even handwriting a moving-home card to celebrate the moment they get the keys. For me, it’s not just about numbers—it’s about being part of someone’s life-changing journey.
Away from work, family time is my greatest joy. I love nothing more than spending time with my two grandchildren, discovering new places, and escaping on trips away whenever I can.

Administration & Social Media
I joined the business just over seven years ago to support my dad as the company grew and the workload expanded. What began as helping with administration has since developed into a dual role, where I not only keep the office running smoothly but also manage our social media presence. It’s a role I love, as it combines my organisational skills with my passion for engaging with people.
Day to day, I get to interact with a wide range of people—from customers to solicitors and estate agents—which keeps things interesting and rewarding. Being part of the first stage of a client’s journey is something I really value, as it allows me to help set the positive and supportive tone that defines our business.
Beyond my work in the business, I am also proud to volunteer at a local care centre. In addition, I have trained with Macmillan to support people coping with a cancer diagnosis—an experience that has been both humbling and fulfilling, giving me the chance to help others during some of the most difficult times in their lives.
Outside of work and volunteering, my greatest joy is my family. I love spending time with my two children and my two dogs Dolly & Coco, creating special memories together. When the children are asleep, I enjoy relaxing -often binge-watching the latest box set (a simple pleasure I know many people share!)

I’ve been supporting Steve and the business since its inception in 2003, ensuring everything behind the scenes runs smoothly. While I manage administration, I also take care of essential operational tasks, including accounts and compliance—what some might call the “boring stuff,” but for me, it’s all about precision and making sure everything is done correctly.
With many years of experience in administration, I pride myself on being organised, thorough, and proactive. I enjoy liaising with solicitors, estate agents, and other partners, chasing answers when needed to ensure our clients have a seamless experience. Our secure mortgage portal is another tool I oversee, giving clients the ability to upload documents and receive real-time updates—a system I take great pride in maintaining.
Outside of work, I love spending time with friends and family, particularly my grandchildren, who always keep me on my toes. While I enjoy travelling abroad, I now prefer exploring the UK., discovering new experiences closer to home.
